My wife and I enjoyed working with Karina! We had asked several friends who recently bought houses if they would recommend their agent and we were surprised that none of them would! My wife and I worked with Karina to get our first home in Oakland. We came to Karina after months of working with a different agent but had success or a clear path to success. In early February of this year, my husband and I initiated the process of selling my condo in San Ramon and purchasing a house (which ended up being in Castro Valley). This was a relatively complex transaction since we thought we needed the equity from the condo for an adequate down payment on the house. It was a rather daunting situation.
But we found Karina and signed with her in early February as we began the process, and by March 8th we had physically moved into our dream house, which she helped us to find. By early April I closed on the sale of my condo, which sold for $18k above the list price. With zero preparation on our part before we signed Karina, the entire process was completed within 2 months.
None of this would have been possible without Karina. Her knowledge, competence and integrity are world class. And, she genuinely cared and worked tirelessly to make this happen for us. She somehow managed to make the whole thing easy for us by providing guidance each step of the way.
In addition to her own expertise, Karina was able to refer us to competent and trustworthy businesses for services such as financing, cleaning, and interior painting. The finance person she sent us to was a veritable wizard who helped us find a solution to purchase the new home before selling the old.
Thus Karina enabled us to purchase the new house before selling the condo so as to avoid a contingent offer. This made it possible for us to obtain a better house than we otherwise would while sparing us the major disruption and expense of moving into interim housing so as to complete the sale of the condo before purchasing the new home.
And once it was all wrapped up, she met us for a celebratory happy hour, for which she picked up the tab.
